On Saturday 21st June in partnership with Trent House care home (Cowes) we pulled off a great afternoon garden party.  Many residents expressed the desire to see the beach again - so we brought the beach to their garden.  It was a fantastic afternoon, we all pulled together and made it an afternoon to remember! We had a fantastic beach display with sand and pebbles, buckets and spades.

We had a punch and Judy show, nearly new items sale, raffles etc etc - the main aim was to bring a breath of fresh air to residents regardless of the weather.  We had a few spots of rain, however, everyone was so busy they hardly noticed!

Trent House are raising funds for a mini bus - this day alone brought in over £280 - it's a great start.

It shows when two organisations work together we can really benefit lots of people in many ways.
