Community Spirited launched in August 2007 and we have been growing steadily ever since. During this time we have expanded our services to help many different people with every day tasks they find difficult to do.

Please take the time to view the following link.  The Pompey Chimes, which is a Christian newspaper covering Portsmouth and the Isle Of Wight published my faith story in July 2010.  This will give you a good idea of how much thought, love and care has gone into Community Spirited and the people who are involved with it.

We have a good understanding of how it effects people when they start to lose their independence. We know the frustrations it brings when certain jobs get left (through no fault of your own).

We have been very successful in obtaining benefits such as Disability Living Allowance (DLA) and Attendance Allowance (AA) for our clients.  These can be used to help with the cost of our services.  It is always good to have support in place so we can fully support and document the application.

If you have a personal budget we can guarantee that you will get value for money.  We achieve this by keeping our cost down and only recruiting people that are willing to train to the highest level so they can do the best job possible.

We are completely independent and private, giving us the flexibility to go that extra mile for our clients.

Please call to arrange a free assessment of your needs and to find out more about the services we offer.

You can find all our contact details on the relevant page.

Life should be about moving forwards, even if it means doing things differently.  If a client is left alone following bereavement we can help them to learn new skills, to be able to live more independently.  We have helped women to do basic DIY jobs and men to cook basic meals.  People sometimes do not realize the impact of losing a loved one - here at Community Spirited we do and we are here to help all of you.

Once you let Community Spirited into your life, we can guarantee we will do the best for you, to help you get the best out of your life.

Many of our clients find out about us from their family. When families are based on the mainland they naturally worry about their relatives, especially if they live alone on the island - Community Spirited will gladly take on the responsibility of remaining in contact with them.

Here is one special feature of our business; we offer an emotional support line, our clients can call a mobile number should they feel anxious or in need of someone to talk to, this is available around the clock (Free). This is a small commitment to each of our clients and a guarantee that if you become a client with us we will be there for you, even when we are not with you.

STOP PRESS - From 1st November I have taken up the position of managing a local care home - please see the care establishments page for more details.

Thank you!
